Sokoine University of Agriculture offers certificate, diploma, undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs in all academic departments, conducted either through research only or through coursework and research.

How can I apply for SUA?
- As a new student, you must first meet the minimum qualification requirements above
to begin your application. - You can apply directly to SUA Online Application System using the advanced online admission system.
- Additionally, you must read and understand the instructions provided on the same admission system on how to use the online application portal.
These are the procedure to follow to apply for admission to an undergraduate program
at the university.
- Visit the SUA Online Application System website and click on the online application link for undergraduates or postgraduate applicants.
- The link will take you to an online application form where you will need to fill in all the required information.
- Information required includes your name, O-Level number, email address, password, the type of program you are applying to and your method of qualification.
- Once finished, click Register
- The system will display your login information. It includes your username and a password. You may use this information in subsequent applications, including access to SUASIS (SUA Online Application System)
- To proceed with the application, click on the link titled “Click Here” The link will take you to the SUASIS webpage
- On this page, enter your username and password
How to complete the SUA registration process
- After logging in using the email and password provided by the SUA Online Application System, you will enter the second phase of your online application. Here’s what you need to do.
- Once logged in, provide your basic information. This includes things like you gender, marital status, date of birth, among others.
- You also need to upload your photo, transcripts and educational certificates when you continue to register.
- When finished, click Update
- Next, fill in your details, including address, employers and next of kin.
- Click Save On the next page, select the program of your choice from the drop-down list of SUA University courses. Select them in the order of preferences then click Save
- Your next step is to get into the school or college you previously attended.
- When finished, click Save
- Enter the grades you achieved at school at A-Level or O-Level, then save the form.
Registration fees for SUA Programs
When applying to any SUA program, you must pay a non-refundable TZS application fee. 10,000. Make sure to use the checking number to make your payments. You will generate the number at the first stages of application on the admission portal.
