The
Government through the Office of the President – TAMISEMI has announced new combinations options for Form five
students starting in July 2024.
Education
and Training of the Year 2014 Edition of the Year 2023 and Curriculum of Education for the Form Five have started to be
implemented, where the
implementation has involved the establishment of a new Special 49 combinations from
the previous 16 to a total of 65.
The
new specifications that will start to be implemented in July, 2024 are there in seven (7) groups which
are:
- A: Social Sciences (History,
Geography, Kiswahili, English, French, Arabic, Chinese, Economics, Fasihi
ya Kiswahili [Kiswahili Literature]) - B: Languages (Kiswahili, English,
French, Arabic, Chinese) - C: Business and Mathematics
(Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Computer Science, Mathematics) - D: Sciences (Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Geography, Mathematics, Computer Science, Agriculture, Food and
Human Nutrition) - E: Sports (Biology, Food and Human
Nutrition, Sports, English, Kiswahili, Fasihi ya Kiswahili, Literature in
English, French, Arabic) - F: Arts (Kiswahili, English, French,
Fasihi ya Kiswahili, Literature in English, Theatre Arts, Music, Fine Art) - G: Islamic Knowledge/Divinity

in July, 2024 Completion
of this exercise provides an opportunity for students to make changes in
electives/ specializations/ courses through internet (online).
After
the students have made their corrections, that database will be used
to select and organize them for Form five positions and various
courses in Central Colleges and
Vocational Education based on performance characteristics and options theirs.
Thus, this exercise will provide
more opportunities for students to add choices and making new Specialization
and Course selections. I want to plead with you parents/guardians
participate in this exercise in consultation with the children them in making the right
choices based on their success.
With
that importance, all graduates are encouraged to do adjustment of specific
electives and courses based on performance them, by entering the
Student Selection System (Student
Selection MIS) available through the link selfform.tamisemi.go.tz.
