Every applicant is advised to read carefully and understand the program’s admission process and requirements before submitting their application to the relevant institution.

General Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants Minimum Undergraduates Qualifications for Admission
1. Applicants for Ordinary Diploma, FTC and Applicants for Equivalent Qualifications
At least four passes in non-religious subjects (“D” and above) at O” level or NVA Level III with a
pass below O” level or equivalent foreign qualifications as defined by NECTA or VETA. AND
i) Minimum GPA 3.0 for Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6).
ii) “C” average for Full Technical Certificate (FTC) (where A=5, B=4, C=3 and D=2 marks). THE
iii) Grade ‘B’ Average for Diploma in Teacher Education.
iv) Average Grade ‘B+’ for health related awards such as Clinical Medicine and more.
v) Difference between Diploma and non-statutory certificates.
vi) Second Upper Class for Non-NTA Degrees.
2. Foundation Program From OUT
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 from six core courses and at least a grade of C from three courses in the relevant cluster (Arts, Science and Business Studies) PLUS Higher Secondary Examination Certificate with at least 1.5 from two subjects OR
Ordinary Diploma from a recognized institution with minimum GPA of 2.0 OR NTA level 5 /Level II Vocational
Certificate.

Minimum Program Entry Qualifications
1. All health related programs
All eligible applicants must have a relevant Diploma or Higher Diploma with a ‘B’ average or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum grade of ‘D’ in any five (5) non-religious subjects at O-Level.
2. Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, and Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics.
Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Agriculture, Nutrition, Environmental Health, Nursing or Midwifery with a “B+”
average or minimum GPA of 3.5. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum grade of ‘D’ in any five (5) non-religious subjects at O-Level.
